About WAMS 2024

Wireless, Antenna and Microwave Symposium (WAMS) is a multidisciplinary symposium held annually in an academic institute. It is focused on providing an affordable yet state-of-the-art international forum for students, and young professionals to interact with the leading domain experts around the world. The 3rd edition of Wireless, Antenna and Microwave Symposium (WAMS 2024) will be hosted by Raghu Engineering College (A), Visakhapatnam, A.P, India. It is intended to provide a forum for sharing and exchanging of information on the latest, cutting-edge research and scientific achievements in wireless, antennas, microwave engineering, and sciences besides establishing and strengthening professional networks. WAMS 2024 shall include a comprehensive range of technical sessions, keynotes, workshops, special sessions, student papers, poster sessions, and plenary sessions. The conference includes sessions on IEEE Young Professionals, Women in Engineering (WIE), and IEEE Student Activities. Many sponsors and exhibitors will be showcasing their products to the attendees and a host of awards and student travel grants will be presented during the Symposium.

About IEEE Student Branch

Raghu Institute of Technology (RIT) was established in 2007 and is situated on the great pasture of 50 acres of land and just 25 minutes away from both the RTC complex and Railway station of Visakhapatnam, AP, India. RIT is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade and NBA. The institute strives to equip its students with the required conceptual, technical, and managerial skills to grab the emerging opportunities and to meet the ever-increasing demands and requirements of the information technology and manufacturing sectors. The college determines to produce efficient and impeccable technological professionals to cater to the technology needs of the society and to effectively shoulder the ever-changing business responsibilities at national and international levels. RIT actively involves in research-innovative projects in collaboration with industry and R & D departments.  The institute has Academia – industry collaborations that help in enhancing the appetite of the students for research. In addition, RIT has several MOUs with renowned institutions that help the students get real-time experience to face the industry challenges. Both Academia – industry collaborations and the MOUs encourage improving the quality and quantity of teaching, research, innovations, human resources, and thus the financial sources of the institution. The adequate and well-established and equipped labs give ample prospects to the students for doing experiments. Sports and Cultural Activities are an integral part of the institute’s curriculum. The NCC and NSS units communicate the importance of unity, discipline and social services respectively thereby help in personality development of the students. A huge and hygienic canteen apart from sophisticated A/C hostels on the campus for satiating the hunger and thirst of students.

About Raghu Engineering Institutions

Raghu Institute of Technology (RIT) and Raghu Engineering College (REC) are two Colleges offering Engineering Courses at UG and PG levels under the aegis of Raghu Engineering Institutions (REI), Visakhapatnam. REC was established in 2001, while RIT in 2007, located at Dakamarri, Visakhapatnam, A.P, India, with individual campuses and infrastructure. Both Colleges are Re-accredited by NBA, and accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade, and currently hold Autonomous status.  REI promotes Industry-Academia collaboration through several MoUs to upskill students and satiate their appetite for seeking real-time experience. Sports, games, and cultural activities are integral part of the curriculum. A cricket stadium, basketball and volleyball courts, and kabaddi playground that meets national standards are among the campus attractions. REI organized four International Conferences and one National Conference. The proceedings of three International Conferences are published by Springer-Nature and IEEE as publishing partners and indexed in SCOPUS. The IEEE student branches in both colleges are vibrant, with more than 200 student members and Student Chapters like Computer Society, ComSOC, SPS, APS, CASS, and Women in Engineering Affinity Group. The strong NCC and NSS units on the campus are responsible for promoting unity, discipline, and social service consciousness. The campus also features separate AC and Non-AC hostels for Boys and Girls for a hygienic and comfortable stay.
